Pryde Development Company – led by Curt Pryde – is a Seattle-based company focused on the acquisition, design, entitlement, and construction of exceptional market + affordable rate apartment and condominium projects located in desirable urban neighborhoods.

Sustainability in all its manifestations is key to Pryde Development Company’s mission. By design, each mixed-use, urban infill project is located near existing—or planned—public-transit services. Every Pryde development is designed and built to meet the highest level of sustainability standards.

Currently, Pryde Development Company has projects under development in Seattle’s Capitol Hill and Eastside neighborhoods.

Curt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Washington, a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning (MRP) from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development (MRED) from Columbia University.

Curt has extensive experience in multifamily development, including over 21 apartment communities and condominium projects (including those developed in his predecessor company Pryde+Johnson).
His recent projects include:
The 111-unit Soren Apartments in Ballard: built in 2015 at a cost of $33 million; sold in 2016 for $45.5 million
The 106-unit Keelson Apartments in Ballard: built in 2017; sold in Dec 2021 for $53.5 million
